Zanardi Karts USA

The Zanardi Kart was launched in 2004 as a collaboration between Alex Zanardi and Dino Chiesa. Zanardi Kart/Chiesa Corsa chief Dino Chiesa has long experience in the top levels of karting, previously working for CRG and heading the DC-One operation. He has had a pivotal influence on the careers of F1 drivers including Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg and Vitantonio Liuzzi.

Alex Zanardi

Alex began his racing career in karting in 1981.  He raced his first national races in 1982  and placed 3rd in the 100cc Italian Championship.  In following years Alex would win multiple Italian Karting Championships, and move on to F1 and CART.

A crash in 2001 resulted in the amputation of his legs.  Alex returned to racing and has competed in the FIA World Touring Car Championship for BMW.

Alex formed a partnership with Dino Chiesa to create the Zanardi Kart.
